After the very successful "Vande Mataram Drive", Sangeet Gurukul took another step towards the betterment of the society.
December 13, 2015, was recognised as a day full of purity, a day filled with elegance. That day, some 1,000 souls walked for their right of experiencing more of clean music in their lives. Sangeet Gurukul initiated, on this day, a walk consisting of people from youngsters to doctors to photographers to government officials. It was a cold morning, and at 7 AM sharp, our Collector, Mr P Narahari, did the flag-off and the walk started. It was a distance of about 2 km; starting from the Geeta Bhavan Square and ending at Pritamlal Dua Sabhagrah.
As we recall the day, we remember the feeling of oneness, the feeling of integrity. "We were just starting our walk when I looked behind and saw all the souls ready to walk with their hearts and minds connected, for their rights of purity in music. It was a beautiful feeling:'Aditi ma'am recalled.
We were utterly inspired by the movement "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" and decided to help our Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, by promoting pure hearts and pure music.
Our supporters were the Rotary Club, Pingaksha Telefilms, government officials. principals and directors of many schools and colleges, many people of various fields and our Gurukul students.
